We worked as the Indian Producer for the television adaptation of Winner of two Pulitzer Prizes and New York Times columnist Nick Kristoff’s acclaimed book “Half The Sky” . Nick Kristoff and American actress America Ferrera (Ugly Betty Fame) came to India to explore the lives of sex workers and their children. We worked with Urmi Basu, winner of Nari Shakti Puruskar, an Indian activist who founded New Light. We managed the complete production, permissions. It was shot in Kolkata.
Games for Change – CEPDA Shoot (Half the Sky) – We filmed to learn the results of the mobile games that were created for the community in India. We tested the 9 minute adventure of pregnancy game on pregnant women, doctors, nurses at a hospital in Delhi and interviewed them to hear their reaction.
